Learn how to knit cables with this beautiful hat pattern, inspired by Portland's own Laurelhurst park! Emily will guide you through reading a knitting chart, using a cable needle, decreases, and more. 

Please complete the brim of the hat before the class date, in order to be best prepared for the cables.

Materials not included. 

Materials: 

  • The Picnic at Laurlhurst Hat pattern, available here on Ravelry! 
  • 170-200 yards of worsted weight yarn- we recommend Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok !
  • A size US 5 16" circular for the brim, and a US 7 16" circular and DPNs for the body (or whatever size you need to achieve gauge). 
  • A cable needle.
