Beloved Patterns 2/2025 is a stunning knitting magazine from A-lehdet / Kotivinkki, inspired by the most famous Finnish graphic designer Erik Bruun’s iconic posters. This 124-page magazine features 20 unique and never-before-published knitting patterns. You’ll also find an article about Erik Bruun inside.
Knitting designers Heli Hottinen-Puukko, Janita Koskinen, Jenna Kostet, Hannemari Lehtonen, Terri Maue, Tiia Reho, Mia Sumell, Emma Suominen, and Anna-Karoliina Tetri have drawn inspiration from Bruun’s rich world of patterns and created their own interpretations. The patterns range from easy to challenging.
The collection includes gorgeous stranded-colorwork designs: sweaters, a cardigan, five pairs of socks, and various accessories. The size range is extensive, so there are designs to suit all body types.
Yarns used include those from Novita, Lankava, Tukuwool, Markus Company, Vuonue, Säie Wool, Sandnes Garn, and Drops. The yarn choices have been made with good availability and variety in mind.
