Barn Quilt Shawl Kit

Introducing the Barn Quilt Shawl by Mckenzie Mullen! Inspired by timeless quilt square motifs, vintage crochet patterns, and quilt squares painted on barns, this crochet granny square shawl is made in two halves. Quilt stars represent a grounded star motif that allows us to grasp and feel celestial magic. The granny stitch feels like a similarly timeless and comforting motif implemented on the second half of the shawl. I was inspired by my palette of naturally dyed yarns which use an array of dyestuffs including cutch, indigo, logwood, and madder.
